Rumor has it that beer pong was created by fraternities at Dartmouth College in the late 1950′s and 60′s, where it is still playedbeer pong girls today. The original version was played with ping pong paddles that were used to hit balls into cups. Today’s version, as most people are aware, no longer uses paddles. However, there are still cups of beer involved!

Ten cups sit at both ends of a regulation size beer pong table (8FT x 2FT). One team wins when they have successfully thrown a ball into all of the opposing team’s cups.

Being avid Beer Pong players, we noticed that there was nowhere to play within Metro Detroit, so we came up with a simple concept: let’s start it ourselves! Beer Pong is a very unique, extremely interactive, high-paced game. Leagues and tournaments are held all over the world– from college campuses to Las Vegas Casinos.

So why not Metro Detroit?

We will be holding Beer Pong tournaments and league matches at a bar near you! Matches are bracket style and 2 person teams are required. Prizes will be awarded at matches to 1st and 2nd place winners.

Tournaments are single matches held at random and both of these events are held at your favorite watering hole.

Detroit Beer Pong League DOES NOT require you to drink during the contests; drinking is up to each and every contestant.
